Indoor transfer table in the Deutsche Bahn AG depot, Opladen
The indoor transfer table in the Deutsche Bahn depot in Opladen is used for moving locomotives with a rated capacity of up to 150 t.
The low overall height in the approach switch blade area due to the gantry construction method allows all locomotives and rail vehicles with different approach geometry to be transported. Due to the fully-automatic controls via 4 panels, each at the ends of the transfer table, each and every destination track can be approached.
